“Sometimes it’s not about what you want for you… it’s about what you want for your band, and what sounds the best. I had a tough time parting with my old 40th Anniversary Strat, but after much soul searching and a reality check about how badly I’d beaten the hell out of it, I finally decided to trade it in for some newer, better sounding gear.”

“My new Ibanez JS20 completely rocks. I’m still working with the tonalities but that combined with my new Peavey amp make a big difference, and some have even said it brings the sound of the strings in the band up to a whole new level.”

The amp itself has a HUGE ego, and it definitely drives the overall sound of my rig. I hook it up to my foot pedal for volume control and tuning, but for the most part the pedal stays in bypass mode since the tones of the amp are so powerful already. (chuckles) Just wait until I figure out how to make some of the crazier effects work with the amp! Sick.”
